The strength and determination of the characters is inspirational and encouraging. Page after page I grew more and more attached to the character of Eve as she went from slave to free woman to wife. A Page Turner! - Larry Hammersley

The Crown of Anavrea was a page turner.  The characters, Eve and Labren, are well developed.  Told in a time of castles, a cruel king and ruthless slave owners, there springs forth an enduring woman and a kind and gentle man.  Their growing relationship is a touching read.  Eve does all for Labren and Labren treats Eve as the special person she is.  Excellent characterization jumps from the pages of this novel by Ms. Rossano.

Fresh and Imaginative! - Emily Nelson
After I read The Crown of Anavrea, I wasn't sure if I wanted to cry or burst out laughing. It was the most incredible thing I had read for a long, long time! I wanted more, more, MORE, but the conclusion was sweet and satisfying. I highly recommend it; the setting was wonderful, the characters were fun and believable, and at the end you're left with a warm feeling in your heart. I'd tell you more, about all my favorite parts, but I wouldn't want to ruin it for you. ;) Kudos to Rachel Rossano! Great book!

This book was an absolute joy to read!! The characters were fun and believable. I felt like I was experiencing Eve's journey right beside her. She seemed to be half made from my own heart. And Labren was amazing. If I wasn't ready to strangle him I wanted to hug him, or at least make Eve do it! You MUST read this book!

This book is intriguing and kept my interest from start to finish. There were many unexpected twists & turns to keep me from putting the book down intermingled with romance. I liked that it was set in the past and gave my mind much to imagine. It was a fun book to read!!!
